So, Bishop turned two weeks on October 27!
He is growing so fast!

We love Dr. Childrey! He helped us through
battle!

We had our first "real" bath and we
loved it!!

Jenn and Addie B came to see Bishop!
Addie was so sweet with him! She wants one of
her own!!

This is Cheryl! She is a really great friend!
Here we are with our 'miracles' and our answered

after trying to concieve forever and being on the
adoption list for 3 years!!

I am totally in love with this face!!
Thank you Jesus for my miracle! I am still in awe that you chose

This is my stoller combo!

I absolutely LOVE it!!

Here is his closet! It will probably never
be this organized again!
Here is the artwork I painted!

Baby Bump and Beta Blockers.....

So, this is me at 31 weeks with one of my best friends, Angela. She is 21 weeks!
About 2 weeks ago my heart started racing and beating super hard! My dr seems to think
that it is something common with pregnancy. He put me on a beta blocker. Well today it is still not better so he increased the dosage. When it is "acting" up it makes me so tired! Hopefully the meds will work. We are working hard on Bishop's nursery! We have his clothes hanging in his closet. I love to just walk in there and stare at all of his stuff! We absolutely can't wait till he gets here! Stay tuned for more posts!!

Lately.....

Well I have been a bad blogger! I haven't felt like doing anything but have been doing EVERYTHING! We took the youth to Gatlinburg, painting the nursery, and just getting ready for Bishop period!! I am starting to be a little miserable preggo! For example: it's hard to bendover, get up, and just move period! I thank God everyday that I am able to experience this!! I wouldn't trade it for a million dollars!!! Bishop is moving around so much. Randy got to feel him move for the first time on FATHER'S DAY! Now we can see him move. He will move my whole belly. It's just wonderful! Here are some pictures of his bedding and the room!

Starting on the progress.

Making progress.

The end in sight!

His bedding! (not his bed)

Untitiled...

So, I promised when I announced that we were pregnant that I would tell you the story of how we found out...it's really funny to me! As you know we went to a Dr. I's and decided we were going to do an IUI. I was really excited we finally had some hope in sight!! My cycle was to start on a Sunday but it didn't. Now this did not send any red flags because it wasn't regular for a long time. I was very upset. I couldn't understand why all of sudden it would be late after it had been regular for 4 months now! On Monday still hasn't started! I remember crying to Randy. At this point still no inclination that I might be pregnant! On Tuesday morning unknowingly to Randy I decided to take a PG test! I was still half asleep and brushing my teeth while it was registering. I look over on the toilet lid to see this:

As you can imagine I couldn't believe it! Toothpaste is falling out of my mouth onto the floor and toilet as I am yelling/screaming for Randy to come here immediately! Mind you he is still asleep. He comes running one eye open and the other still closed. Saying what, what, what's wrong are you ok?? I pointed to the toilet and said what does that say--WHAT DOES THAT SAY? He looks trying to read it half asleep and he immediately starts crying! Me being the pessimist I said it's not right it's a faulty test. Then I was like OMG!! I this real? I called Dr. C as soon as they opened! They assured me if I got a positive then I was indeed pg!! I went and took a blood test which didn't come back till the next day. So there you have it in nutshell and the rest of the story is like every other we called everyone and cried and cried!

I felt like my belly started growing fast. My uterus is tilted so I show more than someone who does not have a tilted uterus. Here is my first baby bump pic. I think this was taken in March.

My Dr. appt went fine. They weighed me and listened to the heartbeat. The heart rate was 135. We go back June 9 to have an ultrasound. Hopefully, the baby will cooperate so that we can see what it is! The suspense is KILLING ME!!!

Lately...

I haven't posted in awhile. I go to the dr. May 12 and I can't wait! These past 4 weeks have gone by sooooo slow!! Nothing has really changed. We have picked out the nursery furniture.

This is the color of the furniture--it's not the actual furniture.

This is the crib.

This is the changing table/dresser.

We have a new pet--a goat named Heidi. She is so cute and sweet! She knows her purpose--eat lots and lots of ivy!!

You know I still can't help but think about all the heartache and pain we went through to get to this point. Don't get me wrong I don't dwell on it--I just think about and feel overwhelmed that my Lord and Savior chose to bless me, of all people! My heart goes out to anyone struggling with infertility! It is something that I have said over and over--unless you experience it you can't begin to understand the pain. When I meet someone who has gong thru it I feel an immediate bond with them!

A poem I came across the other day--

The journey from infertility to family,
someone once said, is like taking a train ride;
Never knowing whether you'll reach your desired destination.
There are plenty of stops along the ride.
And each of the passengers makes it's own decision when its time to get off.
Some never need to take the train.
Others ride it for a lifetime.
But whether you reach your destination or not, pay attention to the journey.
If you will, as painful as it is, it may reward you in unexpected ways.

So, hopefully in 4 weeks we will find out what baby porter is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Friday...

We went to the Doctor yesterday just for our 4 week check up. Had some not so fun things done but hey I am not complaining! Dr. C tried to hear the heartbeat on the doppler but couldn't get it. My heart sank into my stomach! I was so scared! We went over to the ultrasound room and got to see that everything is A ok!! We saw little porter moving around, kicking, and flailing its arms. We did hear the heartbeat but it was faint because the little joker wants to hide! All was good and we go back in 4 weeks! I am so excited that I only have 8 weeks to go before we can tell if it is a boy or a girl!! Hope everyone has a blessed Easter and takes time to remember what it's all about!

First Doctor's Appt....

This is the hearbeat!!!

I think it looks like Randy here!! LOL!
My first appointment went well! It makes so real now! I still can't believe I have been blessed with something I have prayed so hard for! God is AMAZING! We give him thanks everyday for this blessing! I can't understand how people can not believe in God! Folks, he is still in the miracle business! So, of course both of us cried when we saw it and heard the heartbeat! My first question was how many is there??? I go back in 4 weeks!!

Let it snow...

So, we normally don't get much snow here in good ole Mississippi but when it does even us adults like to play! We woke up this morning to a beautiful yard full of snow! We played in it before church. Harlie and Cody loved it too! BTW I am counting down the days till my doctor appointment--one week and three days!!

We will start testing for ovulation and when we get a positive we will go to Dr. I's for an IUI. Check out this site to find out more about IUI: http://www.americanpregnancy.org/infertility/iui.html. It's everywhere....

Well, first of all is it just me or is like everyone pregnant all of a sudden? Maybe it is just me!! Randy and I wanted to update you on what is going on in our lives. We are heading to Jackson on Wednesday for an appt. with Dr. Isaacs. Dr. Childrey(my gyno) has diagnosed me with unexplained infertility. So, we are going to see what Dr. I thinks is the next step! When we started this journey I couldn't understand why me but now I am praising God for this blessing. He has given me the opportunity to share my faith and witness to so many that other wise I would not have had the chance to witness to. My faith, prayer life, and my walk with him has grown and become stronger. I know that he has a plan for us and in his time he will show us the path we will take. Thank you for your continued prayers. We ask that you pray for peace, patience, and his will in our lives! Love you tons!!

xoxo

It's been awhile...

Really there is nothing new to post about! I fought with blogger and won! I think I am satisfied with my page for now! We are still waiting. We will probably try to get an appointment soon with a specialist. Still have no clue who that will be. We have decided to go to Birmingham! Well I am ashamed to admit I haven't even taken down my christmas tree yet! However, it is coming down today! Have a great weekend!
